Vehicle: Mazda6 MPS
I have a 55 plate, black, MPS 6, fully loaded, all working but no Sat Nav with 58,000 on the clock.


--- The front transfer box and lower engine block are blown to bits ---.


This is a scrapper, but has,

4 new Bridgestone RX8 tyres, CorkSpeed Inlet system, Stage 2 ********* ECU upgrade and Marc D (turbo pacs) fully stainless twin exhaust system (removing the old back exhaust crap bits)

Hmmmmm, really by too much torque? :shock Did it throw a rod? If it took out the transfer box it must have been monumental.

Do you know the figures it was running?

I thought the engines were pretty much solid for the mods stated in the first post.

I guess, 340-360bhp, 400+torque, never dyno'd
Mobil 1 Fully synthetic Oil,
175mph TomTom,
Drive train could not take it.

Next step was Garret 3 bb tt. Not now.

Solid Car. Blew RS8's to dust.

Ah i see, so it was a transmission speed related failure? As i know for a fact that the bottom end can handle 400bhp in standard form on the Ford scene. :wink
