Hi
I was wondering if anybody has purchased the new mps3. I am interested if they can provide some feedback before i look into buying one.
1. Is it comfortable on a day-to-day basis 2. Can you actually see the satnav and does it have voice controlled commands 3. What's the mpg around town (urban) 4. Does the bluetooth handsfree system able to add numbers to a the onboard phonebook 5. Does the handbrake cause a problem with the seat being close to the streering? can you still access it without hitting the side of the seat 6. Is the service every 12k or 9k 7. Does it work with unleaded or super unleaded 8. Does it have a tyre pressure monitor 9. What's the quality of the paint work? is it prone to stone chips
Thanks for your feedback and help

1. yes 2. i have one without the satnav, i use a tomtom so cant comment 3. i use it daily round town and i am getting about 25-27mpg 4. never used it yet 5. i have had no problems accessing the handbrake 6. 1st service is 3k then 9k then 18k 7. it has a sticker on fuel cap recommending min 98ron fuel, i use the shell vpower which is 99ron, but i have read somewhere that it will run on peasant 95ron 8. yes it has a tyre pressure monitor 9. paintwork is good, but everycar is prone to stonechips, what i can say is that i have had it round the country lanes 3 or 4 times with gravel spewing everywhere, and there isnt a single mark that i can see hope this helps

I would highly recommend the car,I have one and it has all the toys you could ever want. Even though the sat nav has a small screen it is at the right height so you are not always looking down. Very comfortable with lovely quick heated seats and heated front screen that has been a godsend in this cold weather. Mine is in aluminium silver and the paintwork looks very good quality but I have had mine covered in ventureshield film just in case. 3k complete oil change, 6k they spin the wheels for even wear, 9k service then every 9k. I hope this helps.

As above, no problems to report. The paint finish in pearlescent white is fantastic. Needs to be kept well polished though.
Since there's about 5000 pages in the owners manual for synching a bluetooth device / phone, i've not tried yet...
If you use a little light grease on the valve cap, the TPWS should cause no problems
It can run on 95 RON, but since you can get 98/99 for as little as 4p/litre more, why bother? (You loose a little performance)
Averaged 29mpg so far with a bit of mixed town / country lane driving. Not been taking it too easy either so happy enough with that.

Thanks for the advice. Test drove one at the weekend. Initial reaction was that it's a good machine. However, I found the clutch was very heavy it was like driving a Tank lol....
Does the new MPS have global closure, especially if you leave a window open?

The 6MPS also has a heavy clutch but it is something you get used to.

Sadly, we all need to go over what our news cars includes in fine detail. Saves an awful lot of aggro after.
